01Greek before English
The Greek reading is established first. A preferred English rendering is never allowed to determine the underlying text.
02Nothing reviews itself
Reviewers use systems that did not author the wording and are instructed to challenge or refute decisions—not merely grade them.
03Corpus-wide terminology
A lemma-based terminology store promotes consistency while preserving documented contextual exceptions.
04Build-blocking validation
Structure, alignment, apparatus marks, identifiers, terminology, and file synchronization must pass fixed checks.
05Human release authority
People set policy, adjudicate escalations, inspect the work, and authorize release. Automation does not own the edition.
06Numbered corrections
Corrections become traceable revisions. Published wording is never silently replaced.
